"One of the most genuine and talented people I've ever worked with — and she's only 16."

It started with a TikTok. My girlfriend Gabriella was scrolling one evening and a video of Sophi singing a cover came up. Gabi loves sending me singing videos but I'm normally not blown away — this time was different. The second she showed me I was hooked, and we spent the rest of the night watching everything else on her page. Gabi told me to DM her, so I did, she responded shortly after and we set up a phone call.

From there we got her into the studio and started developing her as an artist. A close friend, Mila, jumped in early to help with songwriting and was a big part of shaping those first sessions. While I focused on the music, Gabriella focused on filming & editing content, creative direction, and the early stages of building her brand. We started her a fresh Instagram, kept her posting covers, and then came the first release. Gabi put together a full content calendar rollout, and when "Paris" dropped, our goal was 10k streams in the first month. She hit it in four days. The song is still doing numbers and I couldn't be more proud of what we built together.

Then a friend of mine, Will Linley, asked to write with us — a few sessions in and we were making some real bangers. Around that time a mutual of mine and Will's, David Balshaw, reached out about potentially joining the team. Honestly, a no-brainer for me. I've looked up to David for the longest time.

Right now the team is myself and David as co-producers, Bella (David's wife) as lead content strategist and creative director, and Gabriella as co-content strategist and creative director. We are a very hands-on team working hard behind the scenes, and there is so much still to come. I cannot wait to share everything that is Sophi P with you.
